Summary: Rooms weren’t ready at 5pm. Went to the pool, terrible smell of propane everywhere. Ordered room service and it was ok at best. Hallway had multiple rooms with door propped open with junk stacked to the ceiling with bad smells coming out. Bed was old and hard. Bathtub was dirty. Had to go to ER at 8pm bc of a health issue, came back at 2am and asked for a late checkout, they said someone was in the room so I’d need to be out by 12. Just not a single moment of hospitality or consideration. The property is beautiful and the location is nice.

Summary: This property is truly beautiful. Friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms. The winery and vineyard was amazing. Tried all the restaurants on the property all were great. Will definitely visit again.

Summary: I have visited Château Élan several times over the years and have always had a positive experience, so I was especially disappointed with this most recent stay. We came for a long weekend expecting the relaxing, elevated experience we’ve enjoyed in the past, but unfortunately, the service throughout the property was well below the standard I associate with Château Élan. During our stay, we visited three different restaurants on the property. Two appeared to be significantly understaffed and were out of several key menu items. Tables remained uncleared for extended periods, and on one occasion, we waited more than 45 minutes for our food. These weren’t isolated issues, they became a recurring theme throughout the weekend. I completely understand that restaurants can occasionally be short-staffed or run out of an item, but when you are staying at a resort of this caliber, you expect a certain level of service and preparation. Unfortunately, the combination of long waits, unavailable menu items, and lack of attention to basic service made what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend feel frustrating instead. As a repeat guest, I know Château Élan is capable of providing a much better experience because I’ve experienced it firsthand. That is what made this visit so disappointing. I sincerely hope this was an isolated weekend and that management addresses the staffing and service issues, because this stay simply did not live up to the Château Élan experience I’ve come to expect.

Summary: Great place to visit for a few days. Onsite winery. You can drink wine in a field of grapes. The versatile restaurant and Irish pub have great food. The pool and jacuzzi are awesome.

Summary: If you want to enjoy amenities make sure you check if they are open the day you plan to stay. Sunday and Monday most things are closed. If they are open they close early.

Summary: The Chateau was a lovely place, but the price for the value was not worth it. We were charged for lots of "extras" - lodging fee, resort fee, "hotel" resort fee (not sure why this was different!), self parking, credit card processing fee... Goodness. I have been charged less at 5-Star properties in the Caribbean!

Summary: Let me start by saying the hotel staff is AMAZING!! Had it not been for them, we would have left the first day. We came here for a girls weekend of relaxation. Apparently, people can spend $30 to show up for the day and get all the same amenities as a guest, but without any liability. The first day we arrived the pool area was extremely crowded and had kids running around(we thought the entire property was 18+, but however it is only the spa area). When walking through the hotel guests leave their trash and empty glasses wherever they please and there isn't enough I guess to walk around and pick up behind everyone. The next morning we found out this trashiness is a theme for the whole property. We did the guided hike and saw wines glasses and trash throughout the walk, and when we asked the guide, they said that was completely normal. The beds in the room were comfortable, but when they say the rooms are outdated they mean - the phone looks original to the hotel and doesn't even work, there are NO lamps beside the bed, where fire alarms have been updated, painting has not been done - though they did paint over what looked like a water leak from the ceiling. There is no microwave in the rooms, though they have fridge. Also under the dresser had some old pieces of trash under it. Running out to room: I'll add the on site dining was overpriced for the quality with terrible service. Never made it to spa because everything else was disappointing & the pricing ridiculous.
